Software update 20 on both iOS and Android with ‘Interactive Train Machine Learning’ upgrade is sent out for review on App Store and Google Play. They will be with you shortly. Please note that machine learning would need to be relearn with this major upgrade. A major iOS biofeedback pacing bug is fixed, thanks to Marco Beltran and Shane Grant.

Here is a brief guide on the 3 most common use scenarios

1. Focus scenario

If: you feel like you are more focused than what it tells you

Then: tell ML [distraction is more like focus]

If: you feel like you are not as focused as it tells you

Then: tell ML [focus is more like distraction]

2. Tension scenario

If: you feel like you are more tense than what it tells you

Then: tell ML [distraction is more like tense]

If: you feel like you are not as tense as it tells you

Then: tell ML [tense is more like distraction]

3. Robustness scenario

If: you want to improve ML robustness to give you

similar inference on your emotion state

Then: tell ML [‘emotion state’ is general reflective]

Of course, you don’t have to use interactive machine learning feature at all, if you are happy with FOCI’s automatic machine learning =)

We will be sending out an update on the production milestone, end of next week, as our manufacturing partners come back from their lunar holiday. We are currently on track for April shipping, fingers crossed.

Best wishes,

Mick and the FOCI Team
